Over 50 years of passion for flight

The Guadalajara Aero Club was founded in 1973 thanks to the initiative and enthusiasm of a group of aviation enthusiasts. From those first flights in Valbuena to our current headquarters in Robledillo de Mohernando, we have built a history marked by a passion for flight and a commitment to sports aviation.

The early years were linked to the estate of Colonel Rafael Borrás Tornay and the impetus of Lieutenant General Francisco Vives Camino, our first president. Their ties to the Royal Aero Club of Spain were essential to getting the initial infrastructure underway and consolidating the project.

With the move to Robledillo de Mohernando, a new stage of growth began. During the 1980s and 1990s, our school trained numerous pilots, and the airfield hosted important aeronautical training projects.

Today we continue to evolve with the incorporation of new technologies, security systems, and advanced training tools. We look to the future prepared for the arrival of new ultralights and electric aircraft, keeping the passion that has been with us since 1973 intact.

OUR MISSION

Making aviation a passion within everyone's reach

We are a non-profit organization whose main objective is to facilitate access to sports aviation and promote aeronautical culture, paying special attention to new generations.

Through our flight school and the management of the Robledillo Aerodrome, we work to offer a safe, welcoming, and professional environment in which to learn, enjoy, and share the passion for flying.

Our commitment also looks to the future. We are committed to a sustainable development model, innovation, and the incorporation of new technologies that will guarantee the future of light aviation for decades to come.
